Mental Health Clinical Counsellor

I was born and raised in Southern Ontario and moved to Vancouver Island in 2011, after spending many years traveling and working in various countries around the world. My family and I have been coming to the Ucluelet/Tofino area for many years, and I am excited that I now get to call Ucluelet home.  I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years; in many different roles and I recently graduated from Yorkville University with my master's in counseling psychology. I am thrilled to be working as a mental health clinician with West Coast PCI within the central region Nuu-Chah-Nulth Nations. I strongly believe in working from a relationship-based/person centered approach to empower individuals of all ages to recognize their unique strengths and abilities. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, surfing small waves, beach combing and hanging out with my husband and two children.
