I have been serving Nuu-chah-nulth communities as a nurse for the past ten years. I am grateful to become a part of the West Coast Primary Care Initiate allowing me to bring an expanded scope of nursing services to each of the west coast communities. I own a home on traditional Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ ḥahuułi in the town of Ucluelet and can often be found in Tyhistanis at my partner’s home. During my time living on the west coast I have learned the importance of respect and connection as I walk through life.
