Meg Lesack

Primary Care Registered Nurse

My name is Meg Lesack (she/her). I am a nurse, a wife, an eldest sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, an aunty, a niece and a friend. I am of mixed settler ancestry, Irish/Austrian on my late Mother's side and Ukrainian on my Father's side.

I am a thankful for the opportunity to live and to work on the lands of the Nuu-chah-nulth Nations.

My intention is to work with and serve the community in a way that is humble and kind and is rooted in relationship.

I graduated from Nursing school in 2013 and since then have worked in various settings providing Primary Care, Public Health, Mental Health + Substance Use and Home Care services in urban, rural and remote settings. I most recently worked as a Remote Certified Nurse for First Nations Health Authority in various Remote Nursing Stations.

When not at work you can find me spending as much time as I can outside, trying to learn Ukrainian from my father, reading, or playing with clay.
